Sherry Lin was born in South Korea and is of Chinese descent. She graduated from National Chung Chi University in Taiwan where she majored in International Trade and prior to joining New York Life, she was a restaurant owner. Sherry made the decision to change careers and joined New York Life as an Agent in 2003, and she qualified for Executive Council in 2004 and 2005. In 2006, Sherry was promoted to the Anaheim General Office management team as a Partner and in 2009, she was promoted to Senior Partner, becoming the second Senior Partner and in 2019 Sherry Lin was promoted to Managing Partner. During the course of her New York Life career, she earned her Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation and earned her Series FINRA 6, 63, 7, 24, 26 and 65 securities licenses. Sherry is responsible for recruiting and developing financial professionals that provide services in the areas of retirement planning, college funding, estate planning, funding for buy/sell agreements, executive bonus plans, deferred compensation, Long Term Care planning and survivorship planning with the use of Life Insurance. She is currently a board member of Diamond Bar Chinese American Association and Board member of Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County. Sherry enjoys the outdoors and golfing. She and her husband Vincent reside in Anaheim with their two boys, William and Michael.

Monzur started his career with New York Life as an Agent in 1996 here in the Anaheim G.O. Each year as an agent, Monzur qualified for Executive Council, Centurion, and the Life All-Star and Life-Superstar Awards. He was also one of the top 3 Paid Life Case Agents for the Pacific Zone in 1996 & 1997. He joined the Anaheim management team in 1999, was promoted to Sr. Partner in 2011, and in 2012, he was promoted to Managing Partner in the Las Vegas General Office. Monzur holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Business Management and Administration. Monzur currently resides in Chino Hills and in his spare time he enjoys golfing, participating in communities' events and initiatives in Southern California.

Suki started her career at New York Life in November 2017 as an Agent in the Anaheim General Office. In less than 2 years, she qualified for Executive Council twice and was recognized and awarded the ARD Leader for the Anaheim General Office two years running. She recently obtained her Series 6 and 63 licenses and was promoted to the Associate Partner program in October 2020. Prior to joining New York Life, Suki was a student at UC Riverside and graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a major in Business Administration. After finishing school, she spent 2 years in China working at her family’s business and she also worked for AT&T as Retail Sales Consultant. Suki is very passionate about helping people and she devotes her time to her family. In her spare time she loves to travel, exercise and spend time with her friends and family. Mikaela joined New York Life Anaheim General Office in March of 2022, she started her career as an agent in the Silicon Valley General Office in June 2015 with more than 20 years of diverse background and experience in sales, operations, customer service and business development. Shorlty after, Mikaela joined NYL as an agent, she became a top producer qualifying for Executive Council 2 years, 2016 and 2017 in a row and in 2016 she became the New Org Agent of the Year and New Org Agent FYC leader. In 2017 Mikaela joined the management team as a Partner and transferred to the Anaheim General in March of 2022. Mikaela is fluent in Korean. She and her husband currently reside in Anaheim. We are excited to have her in the management team as she brings a lot of experience and creativity and leadership to the team.

Shawn Jeong is the Development Manager at the Anaheim General Office of New York Life. Born in Busan, South Korea, he moved to the United States with his family at a young age and eventually settled in California. Shawn studied abroad at Oxford University and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Biola University. His career in the Insurance and Financial Services Industry began in 2016 when he joined New York Life as an agent at the Los Angeles General Office. Within six months, he achieved Executive Council status and later qualified for Gold Annuity Elite and Platinum LTC Elite*. In 2018, he was recognized as one of the "Top Five under Thirty" Korean American agents at New York Life by New York Life's Korean Market. After a brief departure from the financial industry, Shawn returned to New York Life in 2024 as the Anaheim General Office Development Manager. His responsibilities include new agent training and providing support in the field to agents. Shawn holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 registrations. Outside of work, he enjoys scuba diving, golfing, hiking, and watchmaking. Shawn currently resides in Orange, CA.

Nazih Yehya joined New York Life as an Agent in 2006 and was promoted to the management team in 2008. He was promoted to a District Agent in 2014. He graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a finance concentration. During the course of his NYL career, Nazih earned his Life Underwriter Training Charter Fellow (LUTCF) and Certified Long Term Care Planning Consultant (CLTC) designations. Nazih qualified for Council 2007, 2008, 2014, 2105, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. He qualified for President Premier level in 2016, Chairman in 2017, President Premier in 2018 and Chairman in 2019. Prior to joining New York Life, he was the managing partner of Mimi Café Restaurant, in charge of opening new locations, hiring, training and overseeing all restaurant functions. Nazih is an Eagle Strategies Investment Adviser Representative, responsible for assisting with recruiting and developing financial professionals who provide financial planning services in the areas of retirement planning, college funding, estate planning, buy/sell agreements, executive bonus plans, deferred compensation, Long Term Care planning and survivor planning with use of Life Insurance. He is currently a board member of the Cerritos College Foundation. He is also serving on the AAC for 2019 and is the chair of the Agency Development Committee. He has been featured as a guest speaker in multiple General Offices and National company meetings. He has played a significant role as a mentor to many new agents! Nazih enjoys flying, playing sports with his kids and cooking. He and his wife Paska reside in Yorba Linda, CA with their three children.

Ryan Song joined New York Life in 2008 as an agent in the Anaheim General Office. He was awarded New Org Agent of the Year and qualified for Executive Council his first year, Agent of the Year in 2010, Presidents Council from 2010-2013, and Chairman’s Council from 2014 – current. He is a qualifying and lifetime member of Million Dollar Round Table [MDRT] and achieved Top of the Table member since 2015. He was announced as the top producing Korean Market Financial Professional nationwide in 2017 and is currently placed at number 1. Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, he came to the United States as an international student at the age of 19 and graduated from University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and minor in Management. Ryan and his wife currently reside in Yorba Linda, CA with their two children, Madison and Taylor.

Ted Ngo was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States with his family when he was 4 years old. His career in the financial industry began in 1994 when he accepted an internship at Daehan Securities in Irvine, CA and eventually worked his way up Office Manager. In 1998, he was recruited by a Pershing affiliated firm as a Retirement Plans coordinator, where he was responsible for establishing retirement plans and transferring assets over. After achieving his FINRA series 7 and 63 licenses in the year 2000, he went on to work for Morgan Stanley. In 2004, Ted obtain his Certified Financial PlannerTM designation and decided to join his mother at New York Life to better serve the Vietnamese community. This was a perfect synergy as Ted was able to focus on providing solid investment and strategic financial planning advice while his mother focused on the insurance planning. He is currently a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers. Looking to give others the same opportunity he was given 22 years ago, Ted signed his Agency Associate contract with New York Life in 2016. As an Agency Associate, he is responsible for assisting with the marketing and recruiting for New York Life’s Vietnamese Cultural Market. And he is a Financial advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC, A Registered Investment Advisor. He currently resides in Newport Beach and is an active traveler, avid motorcyclist, and very involved with the local Vietnamese Community in Orange County, CA.

Monica Rangel born in Mexico, raised in Anaheim, CA, joined New York Life as an agent in 2006 and joined the management team in 2009. Prior to joining New York Life, she was the District Executive of the Boy Scouts of America, Business Development for Credit Union and Computer Hardware Sales person while going to school full time to Cal State Fullerton, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Business Administration and Communications. While at Cal State Fullerton Monica was a leader and played an active role in Greek life on campus. During the course of her career with NYL she has earned the following designation, Life Underwriter Training Charter Fellow and Certified Long- Term-Care Planning Consultant, as an agent, Monica qualified for Executive Council ten times. Monica is responsible for helping out in recruiting and developing financial professionals that provide financial planning service in the areas of retirement planning, college funding, estate planning, buy sell agreements, executive bonus plans, deferred compensation, Long Term Care planning and survivor planning with use of Life Insurance. She currently serves as board member of MOM's Orange County and WISE Women Investing in Security and Education, both local 501c3 nonprofits whose emphasis is to help women. A local leader of the Las Comrades a woman support group. Monica led Volunteers for Good Coordinator for the Office a philanthropic program through the New York Life Foundation, enabling grants to local charities through our volunteer efforts. Monica enjoys volunteering, doing crafts with her kids, Facebooking and working out. Monica and husband Esteban reside in Anaheim Hills, CA with their two children.

Daxesh was born and raised in Mumbai, India. He has a Master degree in Accounting and an MBA in Business Management and Marketing from Mumbai University. Prior to New York Life he worked for many multinational companies such as Nestle, Novartis and Bausch & Lomb. He moved to the United States Sixteen years ago and shortly after that he joined New York Life. He has his FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 and 7 and holds the CFP®, ChFC® and LUTCF® designations. Caroline was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi. She later earned a Master of Science in Human Resource Management along with a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Capella University. Caroline joined New York Life as an Associate Service Leader in the South Texas General Office in April of 2020, moving to the Reno General Office as the Service Leader in November of 2020. Caroline joined the Anaheim General Office as the Corporate Vice President of Field Service Operations in November of 2022 and has been enjoying Southern California with her husband, Michael, and three dogs, Elwin, Ellie, and Eliza.

Earl Lovett, originally from Mobile, Alabama joined New York Life is 1991, and joined the management team in 2001. During the course of his career Earl qualified for Executive Council 1994, 1995 and 2001, qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)* in 2001 and was awarded the National Sales Achievement Award in 1996. Earl has an Associate of Arts; Bachelor of Arts; and certificate of merit from USC School of Business. Prior to joining New York Life, Earl was a business owner of a distribution company. Earl is responsible for administrating annual supervisory interviews and inspections, auditing field development folders, developing and distributing procedure guidelines, conducting management and agents’ regulatory and compliance training, complaint log handling, screening and facilitating all sales material submission prior to submission to the Corporate Compliance Department for approval, as well as working closely with the Managing Partner, Home Office and Zone Agency Standards Officer on disciplinary issue, in addition to maintaining NASD 3010, gift and 1099 logs. He and his wife, Mary, reside in Long Beach. They have one daughter, Akemi, and a grandson, Amir.
